Things are shaping up to be be a fun weekend for all. ABATE of Florida Safety and Education is working hard to make their Autumn Bike Fest an event for bikers as well as the local community. Friday morning the event will kick off with a Veteran's Tribute, veterans from different conflicts will raise a flag that has flown over our nations capital. The flag will be presented to the city after the close of the event. Fire up your bikes and join the Frisco's Memorial Poker Run leaving from Heartland Cycles, 500 W Main Street. If you are a car or motorcycle enthusiast come enter the Car or Bike Show or just check out the entries. The FLGC Motorcycle Drill Team will be performing at 1:30 on Saturday just off Main Street. Everyone can appreciate the discipline it takes to ride in such a tight formation while doing such precise maneuvers. Then you can head over to the American Legion at 1301 Bell Steet to practice your own motorcycle skills by entering the Bike Rodeo. Don't have a bike, no problem, spectators are always welcome. Take the kids down to Museum Ave to meet the clowns, have their faces painted and play some of the games that will be set up there. Don't forget to try your hand at navigating the maze. Come share your power and donate at the OneBlood big red bus. Check out the vendors on Main Street as well the local shops that are open. Grab a bite to eat and listen to the bands. Join CMA at Auto Options, 106 W Main Street for the Sunday morning service as well as a bike blessing.
