Rider Education

ABATE of Florida, Inc. recognizes that rider education is an important part of motorcycle safety. Statistics show that uneducated and inexperienced riders are at greater risk.

Florida law requires a motorcycle endorsement on your driver’s license to legally operate a motorcycle. All riders have to pass a written exam as well as a riding test or attend an approved rider’s education class to qualify for a motorcycle endorsement. Persons under the age of 21 have to complete a rider training course in order to receive that endorsement.

Many locations offer an experienced rider course as well as a beginner rider course.
